En tidligere medarbejder hos Brintbranchens medlem, SerEnergy, er tiltalt for spionage. Det oplyser den nordjyske brændselscelleproducent i en pressemeddelelse. Den tiltalte person skulle blandt andet havde videregivet information om energiteknologi.
“We can inform that the matter discussed currently in the media involves a person who was an employee at SerEnergy for about one year. We were contacted by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service upon his arrest and have been cooperating closely with authorities since then. As this is an ongoing case, we cannot make any further comments.
It is shocking to have a former employee implicated in such a serious matter and that our company could have been the victim of organized espionage. Unfortunately, this case is yet another example that intellectual property and know how is subject to criminal attacks, and threats to information security are on the rise. Although having high standards in place, SerEnergy strives to continuously improve our security measures and awareness, to protect our know-how, our employees and our entrepreneurial investments in future technology and jobs,” siger Joseph Kristensen, økonomi- og administrationschef hos SerEnergy, i pressemeddelelsen, som ligger på SerEnergys hjemmeside.
